Anne Gjevang is a renowned Norwegian mezzo-soprano who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born on June 4, 1948, in Oslo, Norway, Gjevang grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a conductor, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Gjevang showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. Gjevang's musical talent was evident from an early age, and she began her formal vocal training at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
