Valery Polyansky is a renowned Russian conductor and cellist, known for his exceptional talent and contribution to the world of classical music. Born on April 2, 1949, in Moscow, Polyansky showed an early interest in music and began playing the cello at the age of six. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory, where he received his degree in cello performance in 1972. After graduation, Polyansky joined the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra as a cellist, where he played for several years.
