He received his early training at the Israel Music Conservatory in Tel Aviv and later studied at the Juilliard School in New York City. In 1967, Zukerman won the prestigious Leventritt Competition, which launched his career as a soloist. He quickly gained recognition for his virtuosic performances and became one of the most sought-after violinists of his time. Throughout his career, Zukerman has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
