Victoria de Los Angeles was a Spanish soprano who was born on November 1, 1923, in Barcelona, Spain. She was born into a family of musicians, and her father was a professional guitarist. Her mother was a singer, and her aunt was a pianist. Victoria grew up in a musical environment, and she started singing at a young age. Victoria's talent was recognized early on, and she was accepted into the Barcelona Conservatory when she was just 16 years old. She studied there for four years, and she graduated with honors. After graduation, she started performing in concerts and recitals in Spain. In 1945, Victoria made her operatic debut in the role of Mimì in Puccini's La Bohème at the Liceu Opera House in Barcelona.
