Luys de Narváez was a Spanish composer and vihuelist who lived during the Renaissance period. He was born in Granada, Spain, in the early 16th century, and little is known about his early life and education. However, it is believed that he received his musical training in the court of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, where he was exposed to the music of the time. Narváez was a skilled musician and composer, and he is best known for his works for the vihuela, a plucked string instrument that was popular in Spain during the Renaissance.
