Ensemble Correspondances is a French classical music ensemble that specializes in the performance of Baroque music. The ensemble was founded in 2009 by Sébastien Daucé, a French conductor and harpsichordist. The ensemble is known for its historically informed performances of French Baroque music, particularly the works of Marc-Antoine Charpentier. The ensemble has also collaborated with other prominent musicians and ensembles, such as Jordi Savall and Le Concert des Nations. One of the ensemble's most notable performances was its 2014 production of Charpentier's opera "David et Jonathas" at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. The production was directed by Andreas Homoki and received critical acclaim for its innovative staging and powerful performances. The ensemble also received the prestigious Diapason d'Or award for its recording of the opera. Ensemble Correspondances has also received numerous other awards and accolades for its recordings and performances.
