Janet Hilton is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on 3rd June 1948 in Manchester, England, Hilton grew up in a family that was passionate about music. Her father was a keen amateur musician, and her mother was a music teacher. Hilton's parents recognized her talent for music at an early age and encouraged her to pursue it. Hilton began playing the clarinet at the age of nine and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. She went on to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where she was taught by the renowned clarinetist, Frederick Thurston.
