At the age of ten, he started taking lessons in violin and soon became proficient in playing the instrument. Bogunia has also won numerous awards and accolades for his performances. In 2009, he won first prize at the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany. He was also a finalist at the International Violin Competition in Indianapolis in 2010. In addition to his solo performances, Bogunia is also a member of several chamber music ensembles. He has collaborated with some of the most renowned musicians in the world, including pianist Martha Argerich and cellist Mischa Maisky. Bogunia is also passionate about teaching and has served as a faculty member at the Krakow Academy of Music.
