Joseph Swensen is a renowned American violinist and conductor who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born on September 23, 1960, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Swensen grew up in a family of musicians. His father, Robert Swensen, was a tenor, and his mother, Ruth Swensen, was a pianist.
