In 1944, he made his debut as a soloist with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, performing the Beethoven Violin Concerto. After completing his studies at the Lucerne Conservatory, Schneeberger went on to study with renowned violinists such as Max Rostal and Yehudi Menuhin. He also studied conducting with Paul Sacher and Hermann Scherchen. These experiences helped to shape his musical style and approach, and he quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile musician.
