She was the daughter of a famous Czech opera singer, Karel Kalaš, and a pianist, Marie Kalašová. Her parents were both musicians, and they encouraged her to pursue a career in music from a young age. Randova began her musical training at the Prague Conservatory, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Jarmila Novotná. She made her debut at the National Theatre in Prague in 1958, where she performed the role of Cherubino in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro." Her performance was well-received, and it marked the beginning of her successful career as an opera singer. In 1960, Randova joined the ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague, where she performed in a variety of operas, including "Carmen," "Don Giovanni," and "The Bartered Bride."
