He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Lukacs showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Lukacs received his early musical education at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where he studied under the renowned violinist and pedagogue, Vilmos Szabadi. He later continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was mentored by the acclaimed violinist, György Pauk. Lukacs made his debut as a soloist at the age of 12, performing with the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra. Since then, he has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras around the world, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. One of Lukacs' most notable performances was his debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2007, where he performed the Brahms Violin Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The performance was met with critical acclaim, with The Guardian describing Lukacs as "a violinist of exceptional talent and musicality." Lukacs has also won several awards throughout his career, including first prize at the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany, and the International Violin Competition in Sion, Switzerland.
