Marga Schiml is a renowned German mezzo-soprano who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born on September 22, 1945, in the town of Amberg, Bavaria, Schiml grew up in a family that was passionate about music. Her father was a choir director, and her mother was a singer, so it was only natural that Schiml would develop an interest in music at a young age. Schiml began her musical training at the age of six, studying piano and singing in her father's choir. She continued her studies at the Nuremberg Conservatory, where she received a diploma in voice and piano.
