Miah Persson is a Swedish soprano who has established herself as one of the leading classical music artists of her generation. Born on April 13, 1970, in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, Persson grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She studied at the University College of Opera in Stockholm and later at the Royal College of Music in London. Persson made her professional debut in 1998 as Pamina in Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre in Stockholm.
