Marian Lapsansky is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on 28th May 1945 in Bratislava, Slovakia, Lapsansky showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He received his first piano lessons from his mother, who was a pianist herself. Lapsansky's talent was quickly recognized, and he was enrolled in the Bratislava Conservatory at the age of ten. Lapsansky's early years at the conservatory were marked by his exceptional talent and dedication to music. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianists such as Luba Celenska and Ludovit Rajter, who recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Lapsansky's hard work and dedication paid off when he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Vienna in 1963.
