Nikita Magaloff was a renowned classical pianist who was born on February 12, 1912, in St. Petersburg, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, and his father was a well-known conductor. Magaloff began playing the piano at a young age and showed exceptional talent. He received his first piano lessons from his mother, who was also a pianist. In 1920, Magaloff's family moved to Switzerland, where he continued his piano studies with renowned pianist and teacher, Egon Petri.
