David Kadouch is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical sensitivity. Born on October 14, 1985, in Nice, France, Kadouch showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned pianists such as Jacques Rouvier and Maria João Pires. In 2002, he won first prize at the International Beethoven Competition in Bonn, Germany, and in 2005, he was awarded the Prix Vendôme at the International Piano Competition in Orléans, France. These early successes helped to establish Kadouch as a rising star in the classical music world. Kadouch's career continued to flourish as he performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Orchestre National de France, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also collaborated with many distinguished conductors, such as Paavo Järvi, Vladimir Jurowski, and Daniele Gatti. One of Kadouch's most notable performances was his debut at the BBC Proms in 2010, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. The performance was widely praised for Kadouch's technical brilliance and his ability to convey the emotional depth of the music. Kadouch has also made a name for himself as a chamber musician, performing with renowned artists such as Renaud Capuçon, Gautier Capuçon, and Antoine Tamestit. In 2011, he formed a piano duo with his longtime friend and fellow pianist, Julien Quentin. The duo has performed extensively throughout Europe and Asia, and their recordings have received critical acclaim. In addition to his performances, Kadouch is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught masterclasses at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He is also a member of the faculty at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in Switzerland. Kadouch's recordings have received numerous awards and accolades. Despite his many accomplishments, Kadouch remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to push himself to new heights, constantly seeking to improve his technique and deepen his understanding of the music he plays.
