Sergei Larin is a renowned Russian tenor who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born on January 1, 1962, in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Larin showed an early interest in music and began singing in the choir of the Leningrad Boys' Choir School at the age of six. He continued his musical education at the Leningrad Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Vera Nikolayevna Garina. Larin's talent was quickly recognized, and he made his professional debut in 1984 at the Kirov Opera in St. Petersburg, where he performed the role of Lensky in Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin." This performance marked the beginning of a successful career that would take him to some of the world's most prestigious opera houses and concert halls. Throughout his career, Larin has been praised for his powerful and expressive voice, as well as his ability to convey emotion through his performances.
