Born on December 24, 1962, in Mulhouse, France, Delunsch grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a conductor, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Delunsch showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. As a teenager, Delunsch discovered her love for singing and began taking voice lessons. She went on to study at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, where she received a degree in vocal performance. After completing her studies, Delunsch began performing in operas and concerts throughout France. In 1992, Delunsch made her debut at the Opéra National de Paris, where she performed the role of Fiordiligi in Mozart's Così fan tutte. This performance was a major milestone in her career and helped establish her as one of the leading sopranos in France. Over the years, Delunsch has performed in many of the world's most prestigious opera houses, including the Royal Opera House in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
