Born on May 12, 1985, in Helsinki, Finland, Ollila showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. In 2008, he won the first prize in the International Composition Competition in Vienna, Austria, for his piece "Piano Sonata No. 1." He also won the first prize in the International Composition Competition in Helsinki in 2009. After completing his studies at the Sibelius Academy, Ollila began performing extensively as a pianist and conductor. He has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall in Germany. Ollila has also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. He has worked with many distinguished conductors, including Esa-Pekka Salonen, Simon Rattle, and Daniel Barenboim. One of the highlights of Ollila's career was his performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 2012.
