Schnyder studied at the Lucerne Conservatory and later at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. He also studied with renowned pianists such as Maria João Pires, Murray Perahia, and Alfred Brendel, who had a profound influence on his musical development.
