Vladimir Jurowski is a renowned conductor in the world of classical music. Born on April 4, 1972, in Moscow, Russia, Jurowski was born into a family of musicians. His father, Michail Jurowski, was a conductor, and his mother, Irina Jurowskaya, was a pianist. Jurowski's grandfather, David Block, was also a conductor. Growing up in a musical family, Jurowski was exposed to classical music from a young age and began playing the piano at the age of six. Jurowski studied at the Moscow Conservatory, where he received his degree in conducting. He also studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he received a diploma in conducting.
