From a young age, Ursula showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Ursula's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons with her father and quickly developed her skills. By the age of ten, Ursula had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. In 1970, Ursula was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Georg Solti. During her time at the conservatory, Ursula honed her skills and developed her own unique style of playing. After graduating from the conservatory in 1975, Ursula began performing professionally. She quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile pianist, capable of playing a wide range of musical styles. Her performances were praised for their technical precision, emotional depth, and musicality. Over the years, Ursula has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. She has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Ursula's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Franz Liszt, whose music she has studied extensively. Throughout her career, Ursula has received numerous awards and accolades for her performances. In 1982, she was awarded the prestigious Clara Schumann Prize for her outstanding contributions to classical music. She has also been awarded the Order of Merit of Berlin and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her contributions to the arts.
