Richard O'Neill is a world-renowned violist and one of the most sought-after musicians of his generation. Born on January 18, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, O'Neill grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a violinist and his mother was a pianist, and they both encouraged him to pursue music from a young age. He studied with some of the most respected teachers in the United States, including Heidi Castleman and Karen Tuttle.
