From a young age, Wieter showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Wieter's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Vienna Conservatory of Music at the age of six. He quickly excelled in his studies and began performing in public at the age of eight. By the time he was ten, Wieter had already won several local and national piano competitions. In 1997, Wieter was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Wieter continued to win numerous awards and competitions, including the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2001. After graduating from Juilliard in 2003, Wieter embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. He has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. Wieter has also performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. One of Wieter's most notable performances was his debut at the Salzburg Festival in 2005, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Vienna Philharmonic. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Wieter was praised for his technical skill and emotional depth. In addition to his successful career as a concert pianist, Wieter is also a respected teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Conservatoire de Paris.
