Born in Moscow, Russia, on December 23, 1977, Elena showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents, both professional musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Elena's early training was under the guidance of her mother, Natalia Denisova, who was a violinist with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. She later studied at the Central Music School in Moscow, where she was taught by renowned violinist and pedagogue Zakhar Bron.
