The Aalborg Symphony Orchestra is a classical music ensemble based in Aalborg, Denmark. It was founded in 1943 by the Danish conductor and composer, Poul Schierbeck, with the aim of promoting classical music in the region of North Jutland. Since then, the orchestra has become one of the leading cultural institutions in Denmark, renowned for its high-quality performances and innovative programming. The Aalborg Symphony Orchestra is made up of around 70 musicians, including some of the most talented instrumentalists in Denmark and beyond.
