Claudia Mahnke is a renowned mezzo-soprano opera singer from Germany. She was born on August 23, 1971, in the city of Essen, Germany. Mahnke grew up in a family of musicians, and her parents were both music teachers. She started singing at a young age and showed a natural talent for music. Mahnke's parents recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Mahnke began her formal music education at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where she studied voice and opera.
