The Münchner Bach-Chor is a renowned classical music ensemble based in Munich, Germany. Founded in 1954 by conductor Karl Richter, the choir has become one of the most respected and celebrated choral groups in the world. Karl Richter, a prominent German conductor and organist, established the Münchner Bach-Chor with the aim of performing the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and other Baroque composers.
