The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a classical music ensemble based in Rochester, New York. Silverstein went on to have a distinguished career as a soloist and conductor. In 1957, the orchestra won a Grammy Award for Best Classical Performance - Orchestra for its recording of Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 4.
