After completing his studies at Juilliard, Rossi returned to Brazil and began performing as a soloist with some of the country's most prestigious orchestras. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented and dynamic classical music performers in Brazil. In 1952, Rossi was invited to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland. This was a major milestone in his career, as it was his first international performance. Rossi's performance was a huge success, and he received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Over the next few years, Rossi continued to perform at major international music festivals and with some of the world's most renowned orchestras. He became known for his passionate and dynamic performances, and his ability to bring classical music to life for audiences around the world. In 1960, Rossi was awarded the prestigious Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for his contributions to classical music.
