Daniela Tosic is a Serbian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her exceptional talent and musicality. Born on May 5, 1992, in Belgrade, Serbia, Daniela showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents, both music lovers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Daniela's early musical education was under the guidance of her mother, who was a piano teacher. She quickly progressed and won her first competition at the age of eight. Her talent was evident, and she was soon accepted into the prestigious Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where she studied with Professor Ninoslav Živković. During her time at the Music School "Mokranjac," Daniela won numerous awards and competitions, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Petar Konjović" in Belgrade. She also performed as a soloist with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and the Serbian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. After completing her studies at the Music School "Mokranjac," Daniela continued her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she studied with Professor Nada Kolundžija. She graduated with honors in 2014, receiving the highest grade for her final recital. Daniela's talent and hard work paid off when she was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London. There, she studied with Professor Christopher Elton and received her Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance with distinction in 2016. During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Daniela won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Harold Craxton Prize for her outstanding performance in the final recital. She also performed in numerous concerts and recitals, including a solo recital at the Wigmore Hall in London. After completing her studies in London, Daniela returned to Serbia and began performing as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed in numerous concerts and festivals throughout Serbia and Europe, including the Belgrade Music Festival, the Ohrid Summer Festival, and the International Festival of Chamber Music in Kragujevac. Daniela's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and musicality. She has a deep understanding of the music she plays and is able to convey the emotions and feelings of the composer through her playing. Her repertoire includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, among others. In addition to her performances, Daniela is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught piano at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade and has given masterclasses in Serbia and abroad. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with young musicians and helping them develop their own musical talents. Daniela's talent and hard work have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In 2018, she was awarded the "Young Talent of Serbia" award by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information. She was also a finalist in the International Piano Competition "José Iturbi" in Valencia, Spain, in 2019. Daniela Tosic is a rising star in the world of classical music. Her talent, dedication, and passion for music have made her one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation.
