Born on February 6, 1985, in Paris, France, Ceysson began playing the harp at the age of six. He was introduced to the instrument by his mother, who was a harpist herself. Ceysson began his formal music education at the Conservatoire National de Région de Boulogne-Billancourt, where he studied under the guidance of Isabelle Perrin. He later continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Frédérique Cambreling. Ceysson also studied with other renowned harpists, including Marie-Claire Jamet and Catherine Michel. In 2004, he won first prize at the International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana.
