Birth:1986 in Yerevan, ArmeniaDavit Melkonyan is a renowned classical pianist who has captivated audiences around the world with his virtuosic performances and deep musicality. Born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1992, Melkonyan showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument, and his parents enrolled him in the Tchaikovsky Music School in Yerevan, where he received rigorous training in classical piano technique and repertoire. Melkonyan's talent was evident from an early age, and he began to make a name for himself in the Armenian music scene. He won his first competition at the age of nine, and by the time he was a teenager, he had already performed in major concert halls throughout Armenia and Europe. In 2008, he won first prize at the Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition in Yerevan, cementing his reputation as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. Melkonyan's talent and hard work paid off when he was accepted into the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he studied under the renowned pianist and pedagogue Sergei Dorensky.
