He was born into a family of musicians, and his father was a well-known conductor in the Czech Republic. Jan Hora started playing the piano at a very young age, and his talent was evident from the beginning. Jan Hora's musical education began at the Prague Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Ivan Klánský. He then went on to study at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he received his Master's degree in piano performance. During his studies, Jan Hora won several awards and competitions, including the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. After completing his studies, Jan Hora began his professional career as a concert pianist.
