Asher Fisch is a renowned conductor and pianist in the world of classical music. Born in Israel in 1958, Fisch began his musical journey at a young age, studying piano and composition at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. He later continued his studies in the United States, earning a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Fisch's career as a conductor began in the early 1990s, when he was appointed as the principal conductor of the Israel Chamber Orchestra. He quickly gained recognition for his dynamic and expressive interpretations of classical works, and was soon invited to conduct orchestras around the world. One of Fisch's most notable achievements as a conductor was his tenure as the principal conductor of the Vienna Volksoper from 1995 to 2000.
