Ex Novo Ensemble is a classical music group that was founded in 1998 in Venice, Italy. The ensemble is known for its innovative approach to classical music, combining traditional repertoire with contemporary works and collaborating with artists from different disciplines. The founding members of Ex Novo Ensemble were violinist Aldo Campagnari, cellist Luca Paccagnella, and pianist Andrea Rebaudengo. The ensemble's name, which means "new beginning" in Latin, reflects their desire to explore new possibilities in classical music. Ex Novo Ensemble has also been recognized for their recordings. Their 2009 album, "The Art of Fugue," which features works by Bach, was awarded the prestigious Diapason d'Or.
