Lorenzo Ferrero is a renowned Italian composer, born on January 14, 1951, in Turin, Italy. He is known for his contributions to contemporary classical music, as well as his work in the fields of opera, ballet, and film music. Ferrero's interest in music began at a young age, and he started studying piano and composition at the age of six. He continued his studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he earned a degree in composition in 1973.
