Alexandra Coku is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Tirana, Albania, Alexandra showed an early interest in music. Her parents, both music enthusiasts, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. At the age of six, Alexandra began taking piano lessons with a local teacher. She quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument and progressed rapidly. By the age of ten, she had won her first piano competition, and her parents knew that they had a prodigy on their hands. Alexandra continued to study piano throughout her childhood and teenage years. She attended the National Conservatory of Music in Tirana, where she received a rigorous education in classical music. She also participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning many awards and accolades. In 2003, Alexandra was awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. She moved to the United States and began studying with renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. Alexandra thrived in the competitive environment of Juilliard, and her talent continued to blossom. During her time at Juilliard, Alexandra participated in many performances and competitions. She won the Juilliard Concerto Competition in 2005, which led to her debut performance with the Juilliard Orchestra. She also won the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition in 2006, which brought her international recognition. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Alexandra embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist.
