The China Philharmonic Orchestra is a world-renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with its exceptional performances for over two decades. Founded in 2000, the orchestra has become one of the most prominent cultural ambassadors of China, showcasing the country's rich musical heritage and contemporary artistic achievements to audiences around the world. The China Philharmonic Orchestra was founded by the renowned Chinese conductor Long Yu, who remains its artistic director and principal conductor to this day. Long Yu is a highly respected figure in the classical music world, having conducted some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2001, the orchestra performed at the opening ceremony of the 9th National Games of China, which was broadcast to millions of viewers across the country. Since then, the China Philharmonic Orchestra has gone on to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls and music festivals, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salzburg Festival in Austria. The orchestra has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang, and Plácido Domingo. One of the orchestra's most significant achievements was its performance at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
