Bjarte Engeset is a Norwegian conductor and classical music artist who has made a significant impact on the world of classical music. Born on August 13, 1963, in Bergen, Norway, Engeset grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a conductor, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Engeset was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Engeset's passion for music continued to grow, and he went on to study at the Bergen Music Conservatory and the Norwegian Academy of Music. He also studied conducting with Jorma Panula at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland.
