Bjarte Engeset is a Norwegian conductor and classical music artist who has made a significant impact on the world of classical music. Born on August 13, 1963, in Bergen, Norway, Engeset grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a conductor, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Engeset was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of six.
