Francesco Corti is a renowned Italian harpsichordist and conductor, known for his virtuosic performances and interpretations of Baroque and Classical music. Born in Arezzo, Italy in 1973, Corti began his musical studies at a young age, studying piano and organ before discovering his passion for the harpsichord. Corti's early training included studies with renowned harpsichordists such as Ton Koopman and Bob van Asperen, and he quickly established himself as a rising star in the world of early music. In 1995, he won first prize at the International Harpsichord Competition in Bruges, Belgium, which helped to launch his career as a soloist and chamber musician.
