Born in Istanbul in 1982, Aydın began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He received his early musical education at the Istanbul State Conservatory, where he studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue Ferhunde Erkin. Aydın's talent was soon recognized by the wider musical community, and he began to receive invitations to perform at concerts and festivals throughout Turkey. In 1999, he won first prize in the National Piano Competition organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which marked the beginning of his professional career as a pianist. Aydın's international career began to take off in the mid-2000s, when he won several major piano competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy, and the Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona, Spain. These victories brought him to the attention of concert promoters and music critics around the world, and he began to receive invitations to perform at major concert halls and festivals in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. One of Aydın's most notable performances took place in 2008, when he played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle. In addition to his solo performances, Aydın is also an active chamber musician and collaborates regularly with other musicians and ensembles.
