Born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany, Tobias showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he began taking formal lessons at the age of eight. Tobias's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly became a prodigy. He won his first piano competition at the age of ten and went on to win several more competitions throughout his teenage years. His exceptional talent and hard work earned him a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Tobias studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. He honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the nuances of classical music. Tobias's performances at Juilliard were highly acclaimed, and he won several awards, including the prestigious Gina Bachauer Piano Scholarship. After graduating from Juilliard, Tobias embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist.
