Born on December 22, 1979, in Munich, Germany, Aichhorn grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a conductor, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Aichhorn showed a keen interest in music and began playing the harp at the age of six. Aichhorn's talent for the harp was evident from the start, and she quickly became a prodigy. She studied under the tutelage of renowned harpists such as Helga Storck and Isabelle Moretti. In 1998, Aichhorn graduated from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich with a degree in harp performance. Aichhorn's career as a professional musician began in 2001 when she was appointed as the principal harpist of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
