Tine Thing Helseth is a Norwegian classical trumpet player who has gained international recognition for her virtuosic performances and innovative approach to music-making. Born on August 18, 1987, in Oslo, Norway, Helseth grew up in a musical family and began playing the trumpet at the age of seven. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned trumpet teachers in Norway and abroad. Helseth's early career was marked by a series of impressive accomplishments. At the age of 13, she won the Norwegian National Trumpet Competition, and two years later, she became the youngest ever student to be admitted to the Norwegian Academy of Music. In 2005, she won the prestigious Eurovision Young Musicians competition, which brought her to the attention of the international classical music community. Since then, Helseth has gone on to perform with some of the world's leading orchestras and conductors, including the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
