Born in London, England, on May 12, 1985, Priday showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Priday's early musical education was under the tutelage of her mother, who was a violin teacher. She later attended the Purcell School of Music in London, where she studied with renowned violinist Tasmin Little.
