Elisabeth Priday is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in London, England, on May 12, 1985, Priday showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Priday's early musical education was under the tutelage of her mother, who was a violin teacher. She later attended the Purcell School of Music in London, where she studied with renowned violinist Tasmin Little. Priday's talent was evident from an early age, and she quickly gained recognition for her exceptional musical abilities. In 2003, Priday won the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, which catapulted her to international fame. The competition, which is open to musicians under the age of 18, is one of the most prestigious music competitions in the world. Priday's performance of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in the final round of the competition was particularly impressive, and it earned her a standing ovation from the audience.
