She was born into a family of musicians, and her father was a violinist and her mother was a pianist. Davidovich began playing the piano at the age of four, and by the time she was six, she was already performing in public. Davidovich's family moved to Moscow when she was nine years old, and she continued her musical education at the Moscow Conservatory. She studied under some of the most prominent piano teachers of the time, including Konstantin Igumnov and Yakov Flier. Davidovich's talent was quickly recognized, and she won several awards and competitions during her time at the conservatory. In 1949, Davidovich made her debut with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1. This performance was a huge success, and it marked the beginning of Davidovich's career as a concert pianist. She went on to perform with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Davidovich's repertoire is vast, and she is known for her interpretations of the works of Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
