The choir is made up of boys aged between 9 and 18 years old, who are selected through a rigorous audition process. Over the years, Knabenchor Hannover has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls and music festivals around the world. The choir has collaborated with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including Sir Simon Rattle, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. One of the highlights of the choir's career was its performance at the opening ceremony of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
