Born in London, England, in 1965, Golding showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of six. He was a prodigious talent and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional skills. Golding's parents were both musicians, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. He attended the Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey, England, where he received a world-class education in music. He studied under some of the most renowned violinists of the time, including Yehudi Menuhin himself. After completing his studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Golding went on to study at the Royal College of Music in London.
